how is ARAG different from Davis Cup?

and is there an incentive for players to join that or just the prestige?

coz the way i see it, davis cup is much bigger. and playing ARAG 1 week before RG seems risky for me...

I think the main incentives are: honour, prize money, prestige, practice for RG

And if you are a team player you like every opportunity to play for your team.

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Davis Cup= legend, great crowds, surprises, 5-setters
ARAG= RG late tune-up

"I asked a bloke in the front row if he liked the serve-and-volley stuff," said Rafter. "He said he did but asked if he was going to get to see any rallies. 'Not today, mate,' I told him."
