If he enters a 250, sure. But he won't, so no.

He hasn't won one yet? How embarrassing.

Re: Will Murray win clay title?

Heard from a very reliable source that murray faked his injury and surgury, has been training at RG since the end of the USO , and plans to dethrone rafa, and only play in europe the rest of his career, and rule both clay and grass, like a true king!

After losing the first two sets against Troicki of course. It'll be a tournament for the ages. Although it'll be a slightly harder draw than Wimbledon 2013.
Agreed. Troicki is a much better serbian player than the one Pushray beat this year's wimbledon.

Re: Andy Murray on clay. Will he ever win a clay title?

No. There's a higher chance of Radwanska beating Serena in US Open final

Re: Andy Murray on clay. Will he ever win a clay title?

Honestly, I'm not sure. I hope he can win at least one title on clay but it's not something I am that confident about. He has played some great matches on clay, but always falls short in the end.

OBJECTIVE AND UNBIASED NADAL FAN
NADAL= Excuses, bending the rules, fluke 2010, weak clay field, classless celebrations, lucky draws, first player to lose 3 consecutive GS finals to the same man, 3 consecutive losses to players ranked outside 100 at Wimbledon including injured Darcis, only beats injured or UE strewn Djoko or Fed, embarrassed by Stronga. VAMOS!

Re: Andy Murray on clay. Will he ever win a clay title?

If he really wants it that bad, he can play some 250 event that Nadal hasn't entered, he stands a good chance, it's not like he's totally hopeless on the surface.

Will Murray ever win a clay title?

He's a great mover, but when it comes to clay, players are beating him left and right.

Will he ever get a title there? Thoughts??

Re: Will Murray ever win a clay title?

We've only talked about this a million times. Let's just wait till clay season and see. He *should* be able to, but then again this is Murphy we're talking about.

Objective Tennis Fan

Federer - Isner - Sock - Fritz - Big Uncle Sam Querrey - GOATbis
Tennis embarrassments: Novack - Nadal - Ferrer - Fognini - Berdych - Raonic

Re: Will Murray ever win a clay title?

If he played a couple of 250s a year on clay he would probably win at least one or two. If however he only plays Madrid, Rome and the French Open then he probably won't
