He'd probably rather have a 2nd Wimbledon than a RG title.

Nah.

Murray will be happy with this one Wimbledon.

The British press will be putting pressure on him making sure he wins every Wimbledon that he can before he retires!

He just doesn't care about clay, he'll be 27 by the time that starts the CC season and what improvements is he going to make on it at this stage in his career?

But I actually think for any next year, playing in Latin America a bit might not be such a bad thing. It worked well for Nadal
Murray should just skip Indian Wells, play maybe Acapulco or something, defend Miami, and maybe try another small clay tournament.

If Sir Andy wins in Melbourne then he should devote his career to landing the career slam.

Isn't Acapulco going hard court next year?

Otherwise, that looks like a good idea, but I think Murray likes to use that month as a training block

Even if you were correct with that statement, (you aren't) this still does not take away my point. Nadal, despite not naming grass and hard as his favorite surfaces, is still very good on them. Mandy, however, sucks on clay as proven by his clay results over the years, therefore he will never win RG title, simple as that.

Re: Can Murray win RG 2014?

He can't win RG as long as Nadal is around. If Nadal suddenly disappears through form or more likely fitness in the next 2/3 years, RG is suddenly wide open. Obviously Djokovic would be huge favourite, but he's not the clay god that Nadal is.

Murray has made SF at RG; he isn't totally inept on the surface; he'd be one of several with a chance of making it to the final in the absence of either Nadal/Djokovic on his side of the draw, and then who knows what might happen?

Sure. Then he can go and win the Tour de France.

And you think I care about him winning a title on a surface that rewards moonballing and players who have the best stamina, as welll as journeymen who always seem to be "clay court specialists" and nothing else.

According to MTF tennis experts:

1. Wimbledon later stage = clay.

2. RG = clay.

3. Murray >>>>> Djokovic as showed today.

4. Djokovic 2013 = Nadal 2013 (clay).

5. Murray hasn't peaked yet/Djovic&Nadal way past it.

Obviously it's not difficult to see why Murray is the clear favourite for RG2014. Any flaws in my theory?
