It's looking even less likely than him winning a slam.

Murray wins Wimbledon 2016 after Djokovic is blue shelled by Querrey. Thanks Querrey!

Re: Andy Murray on clay. Will he ever win a clay title?

If he keeps his current scheduling on clay (which is the most realistic, he will never play on clay the summer or during the SA tournaments), I would say no.
If he switchs Barcelone for Munich or Estoril, he could have a chance.

Re: Andy Murray on clay. Will he ever win a clay title?

I think he could easily win a 250 on clay if he wanted but not a 1000.

Strange. If I had a boyfriend I would focus on him and not on my studies

Re: Andy Murray on clay. Will he ever win a clay title?

If Murray wants to win Casablanca, Bucharest, Umag or any other tournament on clay he could almost every time he participates.

He could even win Djokovic open if Djokovic stops participating there.

All things are subject to interpretation whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.

i think murray definitely has the game to win GS... he just needs a few adjustments here and there. one thing is for sure: he's definitely got a brighter future than djokovic.

He can be a multiple slam winner and an amazing no.1, he just needs to play his best more often and play better on big points.

As for his forehand, it may be inconsistent when it comes to sting and power, but it's reliable and extremely solid.

Can Andy Murray ever win a clay title

So Murray has never reached a clay final let alone won a clay event. Perhaps this year he was injured and so it restricted his performance, however I always take a injury with a large pinch of salt. If this was the case then it can explain his poor performance. Firstly Murray's schedule is something like this;

Monte Carlo
Barcelona
Madrid
Rome
French Open

Which makes it tough, they are the top 4 clay events aside from Acupulco and Bstaad so it will be hard to win these without facing Nadal. Murray came quite close to beating Nadal in 2011 at Monte Carlo taking him to 3 sets with a damaged foot and of course had that epic match in Rome vs. his other main clay rival Djokovic. This of course is conjecture because the winners of the next two Roland Garros are Pico Monaco and David Ferru, the new clayGOATs on the bloc and it will be tough for Murray to stop them. Luckly Murray seems to be improving his forehand as an offensive weapon as required to do well on clay, so what do you think?

It's hard to see him not to, but he'll need to change his schedule.
