Mugray is out of his mind. Clay his favorite surface? So he enjoys getting humiliated on a surface where he has zero clue how to play? :retard:

well unlike Roddick and Fish or Blake for example at least Murray made a Masters Series semifinals in Monte Carlo;Quarters in Madrid and most of all;unlike that arrogant punk Roddick;Murray has made the Quarters of Roland Garros

Murray is no punk and will not punk out of the clay court season. As a matter of fact;he'll bear down in the coming years and get better on the clay and I give him another 2-4 years before he makes the finals

you heard it first from me

You're sounding almost as bad as Word Life. Mugray in finals of RG? This travesty will never happen. The only way Mugray will ever see a RG trophy is if Nadal invites him to his house.

Surely as time goes on he should be improving on his clay game. But is he open enough for improvement

Why? Aren't there many succesfull TV actors who would love to make the big screen or even serious theaters?

The guy is maybe just being sincere, while others will do their best to degrade any surface where they don't shine as brightly as they thougth they should.

I much rather hear Murray say he loves clay than hear so many Spanish players whine that grass is for cows, simply because they never get beyond second round Wimby (many US player's opinions about clay fall broadly into the same category).

Murray's no slouch on clay!

Sorry. Its a fact. Somebody had to say it outloud.

I can see him win a few tournaments on this surface. He can slide, control rallies, construct points, defeat South American clay court clowns. Guy's got it all made.

Re: Murray's no slouch on clay!

One day something can click and he could be really dominating I guess... but he's sure taking his time

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Re: Murray's no slouch on clay!

The masters series will be hard to win, due to Nadal being around. He could definitely win the smaller tournaments (Munich, Buenoas Aires, Acapulco, Gstaad etc.) regularly. I think he could win a few masters titles on the surface before he retires though. And, as part of my prediction for his domination in 2013, I see him winning Roland Garros with amazing claycourt play. The guy is definitely not a clown, and at his best on the surface, is top 5 at least.

ANDY MURRAY

SLAMS: 3 WINS, 8 finals, 9 semi-finals, 7 quarter-finals...
WORLD TOUR FINALS: 3 semi-finals...
MASTERS: 12 WINS, 6 finals, 13 semi-finals, 18 quarter-finals...
OLYMPICS: 2 gold medals, 1 silver...
DAVIS CUP: 2016 champion...
MATCH WIN/LOSS: 603-172...
TITLES: 39 and counting...

He could win Nice next week ... had he entered.

Could do wonders for his confidence at the bigger tournaments, IMO.
