Halle Draw

http://www.gerryweber-open.de/332.php

Looks like an easy section for Nadal Roger has more of a challenge with Mayer and J. Johansson in his section. Safin has Popp 1st round....then a bunch of short clay court players.

Re: Halle Draw

ferrero is playing

Q. As the older player, you don't feel like it's your role to go up to the younger players and talk to them first?

JEFF TARANGO: To say what? "Welcome to the locker room. Don't bend over for the soap."

Easy draw for Nadal? He is most probably facing Joachim Johansson in second round. I wouldn't call it easy at all...

Q: You have been described as brilliant and unpredicatble, how would you describe yourself?

Marat Safin: Same as you said.

Marat: I couldn't beat him(Andy Roddick) here. Can you imagine if I beat him here, what's gonna happen (smiling)........

Q: So what would happen if you beat him here?

Marat: I don't want to think about it, what would happen. What would happen to the tournament, to the crowd, to the people? I don't know. I don't want to think about it.

No he's not, he's most probably facing Ferrero in 2nd round.

That's what I thought at first but if you look closely ... J. Johansson is in Roger's section and could face Roger ...I don't know 3rd round or QF. It's hard to read the way they print this.

Yeah, he probably would. That's why it's disappointing that JJ is in Roger's section not Nadal's. Nadal's strongest grass court player is Haas. I don't know if technically Haas is more of a hardcourt or grass court guy. In any case, Haas has not been playing well.......so it hardly matters. It's an easy draw for Nadal. Nadal must have incredible luck or else these draws really are fixed.

I don't think it's a particularly easy draw for Nadal. I think Ferrero should be able to handle him on grass...

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka
Retired but always loving Ferrero - Ancic - Kiefer
