Don't forget, this is the guy who in June last year said "I may never win Wimbledon, and if I don't, that's okay". I'm not reading any more into it than that without further evidence.

Re: Murray admits he may not be able to win another Grand Slam

These interviews are hard for Murray. Journalists in the UK need a story and Murray is the prime resource. So they get an interview with him and then they ask him questions about his future chances at Majors. For Murray, I imagine, such questions are a waste of time. He is a professional athlete working his hardest and he knows that talking is not going to win him Majors. The work will do it, which is kind of what he is saying. So he just has to give an answer, without really saying anything, otherwise he will be described as surly or difficult. Personally I never read these interviews though I have read most of the player's biographies which I find far more interesting. But the whole interview thing is just a game to fill up white space in newspapers and they deserve these nothing quotes from players of the caliber of Murray.

Prince is obviously being realistic, and always keeping his feet to the ground. But deep inside he knows Nole and Rafa should be scared shit for the annihilation that's about to happen in #2014Prince. He's so humble, I love him.

Yeah this. Unless Delpo can step it up (ie. deliver on the good play at the of the end of this year), Murray's the only one keeping men's tennis from being completely a two-man show, and nobody has time for that. Or should I say 'even more' of a two-man show, 'cause it basically already is .

Re: Murray admits he may not be able to win another Grand Slam

Hopefully this is not the case and he is back at the top level soon. Having him in the top 3, is important. Rafa/Novak is great but they kill each other, have Andy break that up. If he is talking and feeling not well, he will lose long before that though.

Even so, at least he still has that gold medal.

He's downplaying his chances. Taking pressure off

Smart tactic I say!

Re: Murray admits he may not be able to win another Grand Slam

He's stating the obvious. It's very difficult to win a Slam, and no one is guaranteed anything. Perhaps he's somewhat concerned about the back, which is normal, and even he doesn't know how he'll react in a 5 set match or how long it'll take him to return to his best form.

Trollex at his best again. Making a big deal out of nothing. Every single player (even the top ones) doesn't know the future and that includes to know if they are going to win a slam or not. Unless you know something we didn't

Shortly thereafter, Nadal admits that he's not the favorite.

Re: Murray admits he may not be able to win another Grand Slam

BULLSHIT. Of course he will. This is just his way of being humble. Also.. by saying this after an injury it will make it even more of a feat if he really does win a slam. It's a pr spin.
