Re: Djokovic hires Boris Becker as his new head coach

This could be interesting for his net game - though I don't expect it to improve substantially. More interesting is how Vajda's new role will affect Novak - those two are very close as it is. Hopefully Becker won't be a new Todd Martin. That said, Becker and Nole should hit it off well and to see Becker and Lendl in the player boxes come next AO will be great to see.

Re: Djokovic hires Boris Becker as his new head coach

Wow. Saturday Becker took part in a famous German TV show and mentioned that he had to announce something. Then he told the audience that it is just a professional change coming up next year abouth which he can't speak yet. I didn't expect something like that

Novak what are you doing???
Was Becker ever a coach? In the last year only saw him in german media with embarassing stuff. He is the Diego Maradona of tennis. Was a legend but now a loser!

I wonder if he will play a complementary role to Vajda or take over his duties. Hope for the first option.

Can see this being about as successful as the Sharapova/Connors link up...

If this is just about into improving his net game then I'm in. Everything else is irrelevant.
