being 3rd class player of Strong era automatically makes him a better man. At least he knows how to handle reality unlike his fans

Muger is like the old grandpa who says inappropriate things at festive occasions

But OAPs don't have gold?

Federer's not serving as well, he's not hitting his forehand nor backhand as well, his passing shots are a shadow, his volleying certainly hasn't improved.

I can't see how anyone could say that he's a better player now. The most amusing comment is "better player yes, better mover no" considering that he is illustrating no improvements in any part of his 'game' in addition to the fact that movement is an important attribute in someone's level of play.

Fedmug was never good mover, or you maybe think you should be elitte mover to beat players like Rodmug, Fatghatis, Mcbaldian, Safin, Ljubicic or Gonzales with average movement fedmug would have learned how to beat baby Nadal.

The seal of Fedmug game is serveboting and slicing, and neither one servbot was famous as ellite mover nor slicers are ellitte movers, in the fact opposite, players who are always short one step on court.

So in the case of Federer, the ultimate expierience(15years) is much more important factor than his movement, like Federer simple explained you.

Hope you enjoyed tennis lesson

It's likely to happen? No, unfortunatelly he's aging and lost a step, but he certainly CAN win.
By "any" do you mean Halle and Basel?

RAFAEL NADAL and GRIGOR DIMITROV

Rafa winning at least one slam in 10 consecutive years is the best achievement in Open Era tennis since Laver won all 4 Grand slam tournaments in the same year!

Wimbledon this year gave Fed hope - if the same happens to another slam draw, then who knows. He can't think that he can actually beat Nadal and Djokovic back to back on the slow Australiam hardcourts over 5 sets, which is what he'd have to do barring those guys being upset. Delpo and Murray also tough for him on that surface. Fed can still beat the rest though.

That's nice.
Confidence is like 70% of what you need. If he can believe that and convince 90% of the tour to do so too(which I doubt it since they're not utter retards), then he truly will have a chance at AO

Fed haters don't get it.

Some just live in a gray world of monotony, enthralled by doltish tennis, unable to understand beauty and light. They could never see his greatness.

Others have some grasp of the scope of his gift, but are slaves to bitterness, resentment, hate, and anger. They feel only schadenfreude, and cannot grasp why anyone would feel genuine sadness over Federer's decline - or why Federer himself would struggle to understand the gravity of what has been stolen from him.

Long story short, Federer is the Prometheus of tennis, and unfeeling predators like Kiedis are the eagles who peck and bite his chained body.

More than an ordinary thief I picture Federer like a modern Icarus. He flew very high with wings of wax for a short period of time but when he faced a real player his wings melted.

How did losing to Stakhovsky give him hope? Do you mean AO?

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

As in what happened to the draw - instead of him falling, maybe the same could happen to Nadal, Djokovic etc. leaving him to take advantage. Then again, he couldn't even take advantage of the cake walk draws at RG and the US Open this year so who knows...

Yeah, agree one hundred percent. It's ludicrous to suggest he's better in any way now, regardless the reasons he's got worse.

Anyone who is suggesting he's better is either working to another agenda (evidence to suggest other players of different ages are that much better than he ever was, for example), or is trying to apply a unrealistically positive mindset going into the new season (Federer himself).

As a history student I'm fawning greatly over these posts.

He is more experienced today then 10 years ago. But i disagree he is better. Competion because of his dominance back then has increased big time. Isntead of 1 big Dog there were 4 few years ago.

He is paying the price for having few injuries during his early years.

I like his confidence towards the AO14 not saying he cant win, but think its a tall order. He should be happy if he repeats his same results there.
