Re: Roger is playing double-handed backhand?

Roger can do it all

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

Re: Roger is playing double-handed backhand?

He's probably just experiementing, looking for new weapons to amass.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: Roger is playing double-handed backhand?

I read once in his web, actually he told fans that he still cannot hit a proper double-handed backhand properly

will he switch to double hand when he plays in RG? :P

haha~~~actually i think he's juz playing around....

Single handed backhands are better anyway

Alot nicer to watch i agree apart from safins double; i dont find them attractive to watch really (doubles). Thinking of all the nice one backhands to watch now; volandri, gaudio, mantilla, gasquet, guga, fed (cant think of two handers ).

Re: Roger is playing double-handed backhand?

two backhands rock and so does everyone that hits them...therefore Roger cannot have a two handed backhand because he does not rock...see my logic..
