It is difficult to save a streaming file in Real Media Format. However it is not impossible:
Step 1: Save the http link above to your desktop.
Step 2: Open the .rm file on Notepad
Step 3: It is a text file that will look like this
Step 4: Copy the rtsp:// link
Step 5: Open your downloader and save the rtstp file. (rtsp files wont save in any browser like IE or Firefox etc)
Step 6: If you dont have a free downloader, download it fromhttp://www.321download.com/LastFreew...et%20Transport
It is a old version, but free [newer versions cost $]. [No spyware or adware or other crap is there. I downloaded it today.] Other downloaders that can download rtsp are trial-based software that expires after 30 days [like HiDownload, CoC Stream Down].
Step 7: Once you install the Net Transport, click on new, and paste the rtsp url you want to download and it will download it to your C:\ . Move the downloaded .rm file to anywhere. You now have a personal copy.
It has a lot of information on saving streaming files from a wide variety of sources/formats. Nice detailed descriptions.
: Ripping Streaming video/audio is ILLEGAL
. Main reason why they have it in streaming video (i.e. a big file in small parts) is to have faster viewing in the player as well as to prevent illegal distribution of the videos. So, if you download it, just save it for your own personal use not for distribution on p2p or online or else where. As usual, use it at your own risk! That said, enjoy!
