Seppi beat Novak 6-3 6-4

Wow, looks like he was able to beat Mr. Consistency, although the run should end when he faces Richie. Anyone see the match?

Re: Seppi beat Novak 6-3 6-4

If Seppi was old you would have heard about him before.

He is a young guy and like Gasquet had to come through qualifying and the win against Cañas seems to have given some good confidence. Good luck tomorrow I'd like to see the Gasquet hype get stalled again.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I guess it is too bad for Seppi that all this progress in the rankings should get him into the main draw at Wimbledon, but not RG.

Re: Seppi beat Novak 6-3 6-4

He is going to play Gasquet?

I thought we would have a battle of the clones tomorrow Chela vs Seppi

Good luck to him

I miss: Ivan Lendl, Korda, Novak, Bruguera, Rios, Kucera, Courier, Mantilla, Costa, Santoro and Ferreira.

Good luck to:

Gaudio, Murray, Florian Mayer, Chela, Nalbandian, Radek Stepanek, Volandri, Youzhny and Verdasco.

Chela plays either Gaudio/Rochus and Seppi plays Gasquet.

It says that Seppi prefers playing on hardcourts than clay.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wow, you have to give credit to Seppi playing well on his unpreferred surface.

Though, Canas has been slumping and Novak isn't exactly a beast on clay.

I think he has a pretty good shot to give Richard seom trouble tomorrow. FORZA kid!

Re: Seppi beat Novak 6-3 6-4

who is this Seppi dude? i never even heard of him before this tourney. his play wasn't particularly inspiring from what little i saw. no flashiness, just consistency. and no emotion whatsoever.

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

Re: Seppi beat Novak 6-3 6-4

He plays like Chela, in another forum we call him the Poor´s man Chela, same body tipe, strokes, style of playing.

He is italian and a looks a little like courier or fish.

I miss: Ivan Lendl, Korda, Novak, Bruguera, Rios, Kucera, Courier, Mantilla, Costa, Santoro and Ferreira.

Good luck to:

Gaudio, Murray, Florian Mayer, Chela, Nalbandian, Radek Stepanek, Volandri, Youzhny and Verdasco.
