Close doesn't cut it. Federer now realizes he has to share the record with Sampras. Meanwhile the amazing RAFAEL Nadal has an incredible 9 French opens in 10 years. And is likely to have at least one more. Before he is done.

So that is the reason he will be out on his own forever. No ones breaking 9.

I remember that people were calling for Fed to win Wimbldedon 2014 all the way back in 2013. Probably because of that one interview where he said he was going to concentrate on family more in 2013 and make a final push 2014.

BOLD Prediction - Neither Rafael or Novak are going to win the USO.

Novak will be running around with diapers, and Rafael just isn't that good, that is, if the courts aren't made even more "faster" like at AO where the bounce was higher too.
Andy has a chance, Roger can create a miracle, or it will be someone else.

Haters in ruins.

Re: BOLD Prediction - Neither Rafael or Novak are going to win the USO.

Novak Djokovic will be attempting to hold all slams when Roland Garros 2015 starts just like he was attempting in 2012, his demons are gone and he will win the next 2 slams given that they're both HC.

Where are the "weak era" tards now? So Roger's era was weak when he was winning so much in his prime, but in his decline he almost beats the best player of this era in the final of a Slam?
He was 1 point away actually...5th set break point and he returned Nole's serve, was it 2nd serve as well?

Fed ROS is not baller. Take risks and he will serve for 6-4.

Ok and Nadal almost won the AO 2012, but he didn't. Move on. There's no room in history for losers. Fed LOST.

I'm gonna work hard coach Gulbis, hire Bouchard as our assistant and I'm sure Gulbis will be fit at US Open and he will win in 2 straight sets in the final.

Last guy who did this, was some croatian troll who even said he would retire from MTF until the end of the year. And that was for this year's RG. Don't you want to make things more interesting and promess the same thing?

novak will win it, rafael will bow out in the QF or lose a painful final to novak...

novak is in full confidence after yesterday´s final, no way that limited player will beat him in NYC.

ROGER FEDERER : GOAT

Dustin Brown, Lukas Rosol, Steve Darcis

Re: BOLD Prediction - Neither Rafael or Novak are going to win the USO.

After watching Novak's post-match inverview yesterday, he gave me the impression that he will not come to U.S. Open series so well prepared/focused as in the previous years. Talked a lot about marriage and his soon to be born child, said he's gonna take a time away from the court. This is normal and he's still the favourite though. I just don't think he's going to win.

As for Nadal, the history is against him. I don't remember him ever defending a title on hardcourts. Also, he didn't look particulary good on hardcourts in 2014.

So yes, I believe another player is gonna win the US Open.
