2014 Djokovic year, and Year end nr 1

With all this talking about "Nadals AMAZING comeback" .. true, the stats dont lie..
BUT.. Djokovic simply gave away RG title, and USO title.. not speak of a terrible perfomance in Wimbledon..

We got a guy here, who experienced a choke year just for later evolution of being Anti-choke guy.. because Choking dose not fit Novak.

You can say that the man was on all 4 GS finals this year, (RG Semi´s being the real final)..
He cut the streak at monte carlo for Rafa..

Now,
2014.. heading for 27 years.. enough energy, enough experience.. been through chokes..
Davis cup final vs Chech Republic.. an easy Win.. and we all now what happend after djokovic won the 2010 Davis cup..

With all these factors.. and just something new i saw in Djokovic(Beijing).. a new calm.. a new robotic excellence..

He might just take all the 4 Grandslams.. AO is he´s for the taking.. RG he will be 120% motivated.. and after RG win..confidence boost for WB and USO

Re: 2014 Djokovic year, and Year end nr 1

I think he will win two slams in 2014.

2011 won't happen again.

I wouldn't be surprised if he reaches all four slam finals but wins half of them next year. Similar to Federer in 2009.

I expect to update my siggie to 8-8 in a year.

What's there to discuss about your prediction. Should have made a poll about which Slams people think Novak will win in 2014. If so plz do.

AO 14, USO 14. My picks of potential wins. RG 14 if Nadal is injured - Novak didn't choke RG, Nadal did in the 4th set - and still won.

Define The Cult of Fedtardism;

"You seriously think Federer fans like myself are just going to stand by and let trolls call Federer's era "weak" and say that his accomplishments don't mean anything? I suppose you are one of those people?"

Absolutly, getting 2 Grand slams is a grat achivement, but i feel like it´s expected..

If Djokovic enters 2.0, the real 2.0.. with all this new experience.. well anything can happen

Favourite for the Australian Open. Neck and neck with Nadal at the French but I have a hunch he'll win it. Murray is favourite at Wimbledon. Slight favourite at the US Open.

I reckon he'll be number one and win two Slams, but Murray could stop him in up to three of them.

You really can´t say Murray is the favourite for Wimbledon.. after the away time, and surgery he is having.. And the fact that Djokovic is a better player

Ok. Djokovic is favourite for Wimbledon, despite his 0-2 record against Murray on grass. And I have yet to see anything that suggests Murray will be worse after surgery.

I agree his chances are not high but to dismiss them completely is complacent. I'd give him a 20% chance or so.

Lets say, you where camping 1 year without internet and world info.. you get back and you hear "a tennis player won all 4 grandslams"

Who would you suspect? Nadal? Murray? Federer? Or Djokovic..

Murray and Nadal will share the slams in 2014. Murray will win Wimbledon fully healthy for the first time and Rafa will retain the French. Not sure how they will split the other two slams yet. The Australian might just be a bit soon for Murray.

Gymnast lovers seem ecstatic winning the diddy titles, so I think 2014 will be a good year for all fans of the top 3.

God I love this forum. I though it might get old after a few months but it's improving every day.
