Re: Has Djokovic corrected his Game Plan Against Nadal?

The ATP website has a FAQ for those of you that forgot about how much a tournament is worth:

http://www.atpworldtour.com/Rankings/Rankings-FAQ.aspx

Some really informative info there for people who are new to tennis. You guys should give it a look.

Your problem is you are defending a position and its contrary in a short lapse of time and this is just a bit dumb thing to do. Not that hard to understand.

If you're still confused as to how the rankings work, maybe you should ask the ATP via Twitter. I'll start it out for you:

"Which tournament will give me a higher rank? Winning an Olympic tournament or a Masters?"

You're welcome in advance.

Sweeping statements based on one match. Classic MTF.

Players I support for non-tennis reasons: Murray/Ferrer/Monaco/Nadal/Isner/Li

del Potro/Nalbandian/Safin
Tsonga/Gulbis/Monfils/Dolgopolov/Verdasco
Davydenko/Kyrgios/Cilic/Muguruza

Djokovic's game plan: don't choke.

Ignore trolls dude. Just put them on your Ignore list.
Nole destroyed Rafa at Wimbledon 2011 and Rafa lost in the 1st and 2nd round in the last two years, but is a better grass player because he beat pre 2011 mug Djoker and beat Djoker through retirement (and even then lost a set)

Peak Nole owns peak Nadal. 10% Djoker almost beat 100% Dull boy at RG this year for heaven's sake. If Novak is playing well or even average, even the best version of pushdal has no chance. Just look at all the stats from matches that Dull won. UE galore from Novak. End of thread

10% Djoker took the GOAT in Clay who happened to play at his very best to 5? JoWilly, If you don't call this trolling, what do you call it?

Re: Has Djokovic corrected his Game Plan Against Nadal?

Considering the huge gap in talent, the main game plan against Fatbutt is not to choke (as JarkaFish said).

Unfortunately he could not execute this plan often, so he gifted Dull RG, USO, and also Montreal when he disappeared in the tb.

In this match, Dull was also getting hammered by BH DTLs, which Djokovic hasn't been hitting well against Dull lately. That certainly helped.

Game over. Forever.

Very suitable comparison. Hynae with 13 GS, 26 M1000 and 60 titles against Lion with 6GS, 14 M1000 and 38 titles.

Re: Has Djokovic corrected his Game Plan Against Nadal?

In Beijing it was just a case of Execution, in Roland Garros and Montreal it was a case of Djokovic not clutch enough aka choking. In NY, it was a case of his forehand deserting him. In Beijing it was a case of him hitting within the lines and Nadal returning was bad.

If he executed the game plan well, there is not much Nadal could do but to just hang in there.

That's what I thought too. Just a stupid comparison and the funniest part is that the OP himself is not sure what gameplan he is talking about.

I saw the repeat today, I don't think either player made any changes. Nadal missed a lot of forehands and I think that made the difference. His serve was average too. Wonder if its due to tiredness or lack of form but Djokovic knew he was not up against the same player he was at the US open and kept it simple and firm althrough.

To Be Honest, Nadal had a Big Advantage of The COurt COnditions and some piss poor Competition. Apart from Djokovic who else stands upto him. Nobody.

You have that backwards. Djokovic leads the hard court H2H.
