I have a guest pass for the BMW Open...

...as a guest of Lars Burgsmüller (thanks athie and Dirk Hordorff!).
Thing is, what is all the fuss about having one of these? OK, I get access to the players' lounge, but isn't that the place they least want to be pestered?

Anyway, I was there today and saw lots of players: Lars of course (he's , very friendly and chatty), Rainer Schüttler (hmph, not exactly accessible ), Tommy Haas (phoar, he was looking v hot and he wasn't even training , Alexander Waske (also what a cheeky smile), Sjeng Schalken and Raemon Sluiter sharing a table in the restaurant (Sluiter is pretty good-looking too in a dark stubbly way), Mischa Youzhny (with weird taping on his left leg, looked like a wax strip going down his calf ) training with Labadze (looks chubby, get into the weights room, boy!) and later with Andreev (looks like Kimi Raikkonen, the Formula 1 driver), David Nalbandian (ugh his hair, it's all stringy and greasy even before he gets near the court!), Nikolai Davidenko and a few others.
Will be there tomorrow again (actually could go every day since I have a week pass, but have to work ), match reports (maybe) to follow then!

Re: I have a guest pass for the BMW Open...

Lucky you....
Well have fun and some reports would be really nice if you've got time.
Thanx

Nobody can actually understand Russians. It's difficult. You can, but it's difficult, right?

The mentality of Russians, it's very strange. Actually, very strong on the court. We know what we want and we fight.

I'm not like American. I have my own picture on wall.

Re: I have a guest pass for the BMW Open...

No, only spoke to Lars to thank him for the guest pass. To be honest, I'm no use at going up to players and talking to them, I can never think of any suitable small talk. So I just wander round taking pictures

I would feel like an unwanted intruder in the players lounge.
Anyways, enjoy all the matches and the great photo ops. Space Cowgirl!

that's it exactly! I mean, what do I want to be in there for?! Apart from checking out the players! But that can be done outside too

Of course it might be worth bothering them for that.
But I'd much rather see a tennis player in a nightclub when they're drinking beer and relaxing I've known players to get kinda uptight before and between matches.....

No Alexander Popp?
I would've thought he might have hung around, kinda like a bad smell. A tall, good-looking bad smell.
