Re: Is Nadal hurt??

i not too long turned on my TV but Nadal does not appear to be hurt. he's playing quite well and should win this. my guess is that maybe he took a rest in the third to have swallowed a bagel like that. a maneuver of which Coria is quite capable so i'm even more impressed

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

i have to leave before the match is over -- i have to go study -- or i'd offer to give you guys point by point, but let's just say that i won't be surprised if this turns out to be another Miami. the commentator said that earlier it looked as if Coria had just given up on the match but now he's fighting again.

i'm off. sorry you can't see it.

Re: Is Nadal hurt??

IMO Nadal was exhausted in the third set. But in the 4th he felt better so that's why he could beat the weasel in 4 and not in 3.
Let's wait for the interview though.

He tanked the 3rd set to get ready for the 4th. Its not anything new or different in tennis.

Re: Is Nadal hurt??

He said in his interview (other thread) that mentally he wasn't there for the third because he's not used to 5 set matches. Something like that. I'm not sure how much sense that makes, but it will have ot do.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.
