best fans in the world

must be gaudio's!

(i)he plays that ridiculous shot against agassi and they say 'that's our gaston!'

(ii)gets demolished by nadal and they say 'it wasn't his day. dont worry he'll be 5 in the world on monday'

conversely you have federer's fans who every time he loses a match say:
(i) wtf happened to his serve
(ii) get rid of the coach OR
(iii) he needs a coach
(iv) he's not mentally tough

so gaudio fans...give yourselves a pat on the back!

So true, though I think most Federer fans are nice and understand and accept his losses perfectly, you know... "it just wasn't his day". But it's his own fault to have spoiled us so much over the last year and a half.

The worse is that you would think that everytime he loses the pressure would be off, hah... it only increases and that's shit for his confidence.

Its like what? 2983405th times in last month?
Where are the ones who moan about how repeatitive GM was?
What is irony is that this thread is made by someone who's name is federer express...

Well, your obssesion with federer fan bashing has haunted me.
Now to make this clear, explain why gaudio fans are better than volandri's or ferrer's.

You have it all wrong. The best fans in the world are the Adam Chadaj fans! Rah!

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

how can i be obsessed with federer fan bashing when i am one. u can find everything i said about their (or our) reaction to his losses on this board today. and i said why i rate gaudio's fans so highly. they accept his game, the nature of it and at times the craziness of it. they just seem to support him...from what i've seen on here. and am yet to meet a self-proclaimed ferrer or volandri die-hard

if it makes you feel better...all fans are great

nice people do seem to like kuerten. i think people support players with similar personalities to themselves from what i've seen and kuerten does seem like a cool guy. so you might be right.

lol i must agree... im disappointed and sad that he lost today (btu what did u expected... for me to celebrate) nehh... its just natural plus i never so much think of my feelings.. but how ppl, press will fall over it making a natural issue the worst like roger no more...

Its the minority that will say "wtf happened" or such things... cuz CAN cope with loses and we wont give haters anything that they can use to faintly twist and criticize lol.. so i keep my thoughts to myself

Sorry, I don't think whose fans are better or worse. The more there are the noiser it gets. For this reason, volandri's fans are the perfect to me for now since they don't make noise. And you can support a player no matter what but with a critism. Not everything is perfect even in the fed's tennis world. Or if every fed fan is in plan 'how GREAT he is losing having mps, blah, blah'..... would you consider them great too? I mean, seriouly?

so you think it makes more sense for them to say federer isn't great because he lost 2 matches from match points up? (he has also won a match this year from mp down remember). federer is great even if he loses his next 5 matches from match point up. (in my opinion). again you have missed my point. was praising gaudio's fans for not being over the top in their demands and expectations and accepting his losses with humour. this was not meant to be a federer thread. just made a comparison to reinforce my point about gaudio's fans.

Who said federer isn't great because he lost 2 matches?
If you wanted to praise gaudio fans, just do it. I was just pointing out that to do that you had to compare them with federer fans, generalizing federer fans in one certain way. OK, go on with gaudio fan praising...

like i said most fans are pretty cool. just think gaudio's were long suffering and now follow his lead in being happy with his achievements. he has won the french and to an extent, nothing else matters. obviously they want him to win every match but they accept when he doesn't. it is like when ivanisevic won wimbledon. he said he didn't care if he never won another tennis match after that and as one of his big fans i would have echoed that sentiment.
