In this case, I'm very pleased to say "I told you so."

It's fitting that Gasquet is the one to beat Federer... maybe now people will stop calling him a disappointment.

I was so afraid that he would choke it away. He ended up fighting, saving MPs himself.

Re: Gasquet def Federer 6-7(1) 6-2 7-6(8)

Incredible ...I could have sworn that Gasquet was going to lose as soon as he couldn't serve it out at the end of the third. And then Federer even had chances in the tiebreak, I thought it's over.

But credits to Gasquet for digging this one out, only a little bit decided in this match and it was to Gasquet's favour this time. Great effort by the so "overhyped and overrated" Frenchman as some say he certainly has quietened a few doubters by this BIG win...

After this tournament, his #101 ranking should be history for quite a while then!

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Richard really did deserve it in the end and he hit some amazing winners in the final set tiebreak. Roger fought so hard from 2-5 down and had his match points but didn't make bad errors on them - Gasquet won those points.
