Re: Ferrero Downs Volandri 6/2 6/3

Ferrero can need this result and every point he can get.

As for Volandri, he did very well the whole week, too. Enjoyed his wins over Canas and Puerta very much on his road to this QF, he stayed tough in these matches and these were impressive wins IMO.

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Re: Ferrero Downs Volandri 6/2 6/3

No surprise here whatsoever.

Ferrero packs the goods on clay, and has established himself.

Volandri can only rely on backhanded tactics to win, against a low ranked player who fluked a clay tourney win no less.

Nice win for Juan Carlos. Sad to see Volandri's run end, but he did very well to make it this far.

Go JCF! Looks like the real 'king of clay' is finally starting to come back. The pretenders like Coria, Nadal better watch out...
