I'm playing the qualy of a Future... (Mexico F3 (CL) $10K)

I just hope I can sign in

There are players around #600 in the world entering the qualy too... I'msure it'll be an amazing experience... even if I get my ass kicked....I'd play my first profesional match

Have a great time. A friend of mine did this. He's around here somewhere and might be able to offer err, advice or something

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

It starts April 18th (or 19th), and the qualy should be played on Saturday and Sunday...

The top ranked player to enter the main draw is something like #350... not so bad

nice. tell us about your game. what are your strengths? (i won't ask about your weaknesses just in case any of your opponents are lurking )

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

Re: I'm playing the qualy of a Future... (Mexico F3 (CL) $10K)

lol I'll tell you more about me.
I'm 16, from Mexico, I'm not a top ranked player, but I'm one of those who will never give tennis up... definitely a 6.5 - 7.0 player.

Some promotors and coaches from Bolletieri came to my city to "search" for players that could join their academy. Well, I thought they'd pick up the TOP ranked players....but they picked up me!

This guy (Percy Melzi) told me that even though I didnt win many matches, I played with more heart than anyone around, he said he could see it in my eyes and my concentration. So I was given a scholarship to spend 2 weeks ad the Bolletieri Tennis Academy (I may go either in summer or at the end of the year).

I hope you have fun and possibly win a match.
The scholarship to Bolletieri's sounds awesome!

Re: I'm playing the qualy of a Future... (Mexico F3 (CL) $10K)

And I'm also entering so I can "get the idea" of how's the game level @ the future level. Because when I turn 19 (when i get out of high school), I'll go either to Monterrey or the US and try to get a schollarship @ a university which "supports" me in tennis, so I'd be playing futures, and if I do well, when I finish studying I'll play futures and Challengers and get as far as I can...
