It can stay indoors for all I care, but I think that they could change the surface once in a while. I don't see why it has to be indoor hard all the time. How about indoor clay or indoor grass for a change?

The problem is all the tournaments the weeks before WTF are on hard.So changing surface for just 1 tournament is unlikely. If the WTF would be on clay for instance, the weeks before it should be played on that surface.
U can`t expect the tournament in Bercy to be played on hard and 1 day later to go and play on clay.
Also,if something like this is proposed, the players will have to agree with it and i doubt the majority share Nadal`s point of view.

Re: Nadal: Playing the Masters Cup every year on indoor hard is not fair

Nadal means that this is the year end tournament. If it is year end tournament it should represent all surfaces since they play on all surfaces and won many of those points on clay too. I dont say he is right, but thats what he means. PErsonaly I dont care about this tournament so much.

They already did that at Montreal, Cincy and USO.

Maybe they'll slow it down like you suggested. Only way to know for sure though is if Rafa holds that winners trophy. Only and only then can we be 100% sure the courts have been slowed down.

So patriotic, most tennis players. The tax dodging fucks should all have to play for the Swiss and Monaco Davis Cup teams.

And yes, a 'World Tour Finals' that's supposed to reflect success on the tour as a whole should be played in neutral or rotating conditions. Either have an honorary slam indoor championship or a (neutral) exho-style tour promoting gimmick event. Doesn't work as both.

Bautista Agut | Bellucci | Blake | Dimitrov | Dodig | Ferrero | Fognini | Gasquet | Hewitt | Kohlschreiber | Murray | Raonic | Rosol | Seppi | Tsonga | Tursunov | Verdasco

This is why I don't like Nadal. He wants everything done exactly how he wishes, and if it isn't he deems it unfair. Ridiculous.

** WTF should be played in different surfaces. I am not saying this because I am a fan of Rafa . Like Olympics, it should be played in a different continent every time (year) and then can be another draw to choose the Country. It can be chosen at the beginning of the year or even earlier. So, it if happens to be in Australia or South America, it can be outdoors (hard, clay or whatever) . If it is Northern Europe, North America , it can be indoors (hard or clay or whatever) . It will add a new element of variety to the WTF.

Make them play on wood. That's fair, considering how uncommon it is.
