I mean it feels like they're playing in a graveyard...

Is it the lack of Americans past the 3rd round or is it Eurosport's fault?

It's the person with the microphone behind the umpire

Eurosport is cool for me.

They have been pretty loud on break points and such but quiet otherwise.

Try listening to Italian or Russian streams, can't hear anything from the court.

I hate when the commentator audio is very high and the stadium audio is low

It depends on the matches. They seemed very noisy in this Wawa destruction

I love the crowd reactions and riots when the match is going into the deciding parts Don't know why some tv stations are shushing it

This seems like a fault on the broadcasters end. Whoever is providing the feed is setting the sound levels too low

Eurosport always has the commentary volume higher than the other sounds. You'll notice this if you flick between Sky and Eurosports- on Sky, the crowd noise and the general atmosphere just seems greater, while Eurosport has it noticeably hushed.

Skys audio mixing has also been bad this year.

For Portuguese Eurosport the sound levels are fine, can hear both the crowd and the commentators clearly.

That's actually really weird isn't it? It's not the 1930s.... slap some mics on both sides and get it done.

If the sound from the court comes only from that mic that would explain it but since people here posted that their sound is fine I guess that's not the case.

Whatever is causing it, it's really annoying.

There's more than one mic on the court, I really don't get the point of that person with the mic, espescially considering there's enough mics on court to pic enough sound up already.
