Come on.

Non-tennis, but so you all see it:

The current quality of posts in GM, in my opinion is dropping. It seemes a never endless list of polls regarding favourites, best evers... Where can we see the usual quality?

Don't just post for the sake of it!

Jim Thomas - Max Mirnyi - Jordan Kerr - Rohan Bopanna - Andy Roddick - Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi - Ilia Bozoljac - Chris Haggard - Jan-Michael Gambill - Donald Young - Nathan Healey - Lleyton Hewitt - Jamie Murray - Olivier Rochus - James Blake - Vince Spadea - Tim Henman - John Isner - Travis Parrott - Paul Goldstein - Tim Henman - Wes Moodie - Arnaud Clement - Michael Russell - Jeff Coetzee

Quality comes unforced. I have made over 3,000 posts all of quality. THAT IS WHY I SAID DO NOT POST FOR THE SAKE OF IT.

We have the following shit, on the 1st page alone:
Who will win RG?
Who will win RG and Wimbledon?
What racket do you use?
Weakest No.1?
Best never to win a Slam?
Who won't win another Slam?
Best never to reach No.1?
Successful comebacks?
Slam before retirement?

Not all of the polls are rubbish, a lot of them are, but not all of them.

The RG one if you have read it actually has been some good discussion in there about the tournament and certain players chances.

Best never to win a Slam has some relevant posts in there as well.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

We should have a poll on whether people want more or less polls.

I agree that one should stick more to tennis in GM. But, if you think things are bad here, look in some of the player forums. One of the reasons I like www.*************** is that there is more tennis and the contributors there clearly play and enjoy the game. But there is some fluff there, too.

LOL
Talking about slams is never boring IMO, that's why they are slams... It's true that some threads are similar, but if you read carefully there are slight differences. When you take as an example "Who will win RG-Wimby" it's not exactly the question in GM first page, but "What are the qualities to do the double ?" and if woha has them if anyone ? That's not exactly the same. And saying that within 3000 posts you don't have a few crappy ones, I'd be surprised, but why not...

"I asked a bloke in the front row if he liked the serve-and-volley stuff," said Rafter. "He said he did but asked if he was going to get to see any rallies. 'Not today, mate,' I told him."

Just had a look at tennisforyou.com and it's true that the poll called "Hottest Women's player ever" electing Kournikova must be done by highly skilled players !!

"I asked a bloke in the front row if he liked the serve-and-volley stuff," said Rafter. "He said he did but asked if he was going to get to see any rallies. 'Not today, mate,' I told him."
