Federer's back to his old form. Great to see someone thinking out his points and then winning them.

Rogi played absolutely awesome, certainly a lot better than his 2 previous matches! He hit tons of winners and incredible passing shots, while doing very few UFES... He definitely elevated his level, and it's gonna be tough for his opponent in the semis!!!

Re: Roger Federer defeats Tim Henman 6-4, 6-2

Miami (BBC) - The Swiss star broke in the fifth game of a closely fought opening set, and saved a break point in game eight with a magnificent second serve.

Henman was rarely able to threaten Federer and the top seed broke twice in the second set for a 6-4 6-2 victory.

Federer goes on to face Andre Agassi or Taylor Dent in the last four.

Henman put in a solid performance but was made to pay for every lapse of concentration, with Federer capitalising ruthlessly.

The world number one largely controlled the match from the baseline and fired several unstoppable forehands as Henman tried to take charge at the net.

And despite some wonderful volleys from the Briton, Federer was more often than not able to find the winning pass.

these are seriously worrying times for tennis when one of the best players in the world plays well and wins 6 games

Ancic is a future Wimbledon star.

Expect him to do great things there.

If Mario cannot even win a title then he cannot win Wimbledon. He might or might not be a future star and possible Wimbledon champion. It won't happen for a few years though and who knows he might need a sick of injuried Roger in order to nab it.

Unless of course Nadal did it.....right? No troubles at all. Anyone who has ever picked up a racquet and competed on the court marvels at what Federer did today.

Re: Roger Federer defeats Tim Henman 6-4, 6-2

Mario doesn't have the head to win a slam. He has serious mental problems, in a similar way to Mr Safin although he's managed to win a few Slams. Ancic also isn't that much younger than the current crop of Federer/Roddick/Safin/Hewitt etc, and look at the difference in achievements. A talented but overrated player in my opinion, he simply can't be considered a major threat at slams yet.
