I think the story of this match is that Agassi just played the most important points better than Gaudio. Even the 6-2 in the 2nd set doesn't say too much because had Gaudio breaked at the beginning of the set (he had plenty of chances to do so), things could have turned. When Agassi had his break points saved later, he worked again to get another one and finally converted one and strolled this match until the end.
