congrats Agassi. nice fighting Gaudio

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

It was a great effort from Gaston. Just a couple of stupid points really cost him a shot at taking out Agassi.

At least Gaston looks smashing in this Gucci suit (upgraded from Armani) with his vCash.

Another mental meltdown of Gaudio after he failed to convert all those breakpoints.

Re: Agassi beats Gaudio 7-6(7) 6-2

Congrats Andre!
Miami TMS QF for him....

Now go even further!

I think the story of this match is that Agassi just played the most important points better than Gaudio. Even the 6-2 in the 2nd set doesn't say too much because had Gaudio breaked at the beginning of the set (he had plenty of chances to do so), things could have turned. When Agassi had his break points saved later, he worked again to get another one and finally converted one and strolled this match until the end.

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Great match from both players Although I would have liked to see Gastón taking this one...

Like they did at Cincy circa 2001.

Re: Agassi beats Gaudio 7-6(7) 6-2

One of the toughest 7-6, 6-2 victories I have seen!

It's amazing how fit Andre is --- you see it in a match like this.

Well done, and very nice fight, Gaudio (in the first 1.5 sets, at least).

Last of the moon-and-volley specialists.

I believe in luck. How else can you explain the success of those you don't like? ---Jean Cocteau
