ESPN Schedule - Doubles (Miami)

I understand ESPN show very little doubles as oppose to TTC, who fucking love it. But, I was wondering, as this is a huge tourney, will they be showing the SF/Final, or anything at all? Thanks in advance.

Dream on, ae. Only time I've ever seen doubles recently on ESPN was...the Wimby ladies and mixed (and only because Martina was in it) dbls finals and RO when the Bryan brothers were in it (and won). GSs and DC ties only, I believe...and even then there's gotta be a high(er) profile American in play.

Stinks, don't it?

I love my girls.

Re: ESPN Schedule - Doubles (Miami)

Sorry Andrew, but Angle Queen is 100% correct. The only time you'll see doubles during a regular tourny on ESPN is if they are desperate to fill in some time between singles matches, unless it involves Martina N., who will draw ratings and interest.

Sometimes they show doubles finals at the Australian Open, too. It depends on their mood.

Le Poussin! Faithfully ignoring the haters since 1995.

Le Poulailler de Poussin! (Simontarded.)

Ron Paul for President 2012!

I'm jealous that you guys even see doubles DC ties! The last doubles match they showed us here in Canada (Toronto, anyway) was US Open semis Knowles/Nestor vs Benneteau/Mahut and it was incomplete!

Re: ESPN Schedule - Doubles (Miami)

USA Network always airs the U.S. Open women's doubles final Sunday afternoon before the men's final is on CBS. Last year, USA showed a mixed doubles match during primetime, but that was due to Pavel's walkover creating an opening in the schedule.
