Back with sky sports for the summer hardcourt - discussion thread

No interactive coverage!! wanted to see gaudio, but it looks like no chance of that! They did this last year, interactive for a few events and none for the others!

Re: Sky Sports does it again?

It is, in short, fucking annoying.

We pay a lot for what is a poor service in many respects e.g. the movies package, in which movies are routinely edited by up to 10 minutes. The interactive tennis is great when it's provided, but when a situation such as this arises (no multi-court and thus the best available match-up is lost), I feel let down. Especially given that they will be covering the Henman match (presumably), which is on the very court on which Grosjean and Gaudio are battling it out.

Re: Sky Sports does it again?

Just curious to know: is Sky Sports worse or better than Eurosport? I get an abbreviated form of Sky Sports here in the states but I was wondering if Eurosport is much better.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: Sky Sports does it again?

Jeez it just proves that I'm glad I don't have sky anymore. I paid extra to get the sports for a month during the USO, it's obviously not worth it for the rest of the year

sky sports is way better than eurosport, it shows all tms events and the uso and this year it also has the masters cup. on eurosport, they're liable not have tennis in their schedule then show showthing else but with sky, they always show it and usually have interactive court coverage.

Full coverage of US Open.

out of the past 4 tms, ONLY one has had interactive. I expect it to decline even more over the year

Definitely !!! I actually saw him play at Wimbly last year and I enjoyed it much more than following it on TV with the BBC commentators...
