It's going to be a fun title defense...
Holy moly. What was the point of such a mean post?
1. His name is not Anny.
2. Carlos did put up a fight. I'm just sorry you missed the first set. Can we all stop assuming that Carlos Moya is the worst player to ever hit the Top Ten? Two years ago, he was in the final of this tournament. Last year, he almost beat Andy, when Roddick hit an amazing pass and got inspired. Reaching a Masters final is nothing to be ashamed about.
3. Safin is a streaky player. When he's on, he's pretty awesome. Otherwise his mental fortitude is questionable. Marat's just as likely to lose in round two as he is to destroy Andy.
4. The last time Nadal and Andy played on American hardcourts, Andy had homecourt advantage (just like Miami), was on his favorite surface(just like Miami), and fed Rafa a bagel.
5. Andy has a 50% chance of beating Roger. EDIT- THIS IS A JOKE BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO BE VERY OPTIMISTIC FOR ANDY.
What was the point of devoting a whole thread to dissect Andy's dismal chances at getting out of Round One on his favorite surface in front of his own country with ranking points at stake?
