LMAO @ Ducky's Miami Draw

R64: Verdasco (who should be wanting revenge and probably has a better handle on Anny's serve than two weeks ago)
R32: Nadal (who is fresh and rested as well as confident after winning two titles and doing a hell of a lot better job against Hewitt in Melbourne)
R16: Ljubicic (who personally hates Ducky and is still revelling in his win over him in Davis Cup)
QF: Moya (the idea of losing to Ducky two events in a row might actually galvanize Carlos "I'm a lova, not a fighta" Moya to put up a fight)
SF: Safin (if Marat makes it this far, he will be deadly)
F: Federer (Jon Wertheim claims that Ducky is due for a win over Roger. I say that there is no limit to the number of times Roger will kick his @$$)

It's going to be a fun title defense...

I disagree, I can see him losing to any of those guys. I doubt he will make the finals but if he does then its very deserved.

The Spanish boys will work him over. Even if Fernando can't win, he'll try to tire Andy out as much as possible so that Rafa can finish him off.

Holy moly. What was the point of such a mean post?

1. His name is not Anny.
2. Carlos did put up a fight. I'm just sorry you missed the first set. Can we all stop assuming that Carlos Moya is the worst player to ever hit the Top Ten? Two years ago, he was in the final of this tournament. Last year, he almost beat Andy, when Roddick hit an amazing pass and got inspired. Reaching a Masters final is nothing to be ashamed about.
3. Safin is a streaky player. When he's on, he's pretty awesome. Otherwise his mental fortitude is questionable. Marat's just as likely to lose in round two as he is to destroy Andy.
4. The last time Nadal and Andy played on American hardcourts, Andy had homecourt advantage (just like Miami), was on his favorite surface(just like Miami), and fed Rafa a bagel.
5. Andy has a 50% chance of beating Roger. EDIT- THIS IS A JOKE BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO BE VERY OPTIMISTIC FOR ANDY.

Seriously. What was the point of devoting a whole thread to dissect Andy's dismal chances at getting out of Round One on his favorite surface in front of his own country with ranking points at stake?

50% chance? Why dont you have a look at their head to head record.

um. Roger can either win or lose. That's basic probability.

Yes. You can either win or lose. Theoretically.

Well yes both Andy and I could i guess theoretically win or lose but that doesnt mean we have a 50% chance in winning. Id say mine is .00000% and Andys is .000001%

Liptea, you know that GM just wouldn't be the same if the antifans didn't have Andy to obsessively talk about. Tennis would be so boring without him.

Besides, if you think this spate of New Trolls on the Block is bad now just wait till Nasdaq is over with. BAN Party!

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

OK. If there are two outcomes, the chances of one of them happening is 50%. That's all I meant thanks. You're overcomplicating it.

Please stop devoting whole threads just to hate on Andy Roddick. If his draw makes you laugh your ass off, you should be devoting time to reattaching it.

Funny...I think Andy is going to win the tourney....the only one who might give him trouble would be Safin.

Fact of the day : Nutmeg is extremely poisonous if injected intravenously.
