Masters Titles?

How many does Federer have now? Doesn't Agassi have 13 or 14? When (not if) will he surpass this?

Re: Masters Titles?

How exactly does Agassi have 17? The Master Series was only invented a few years ago.

Agassi has 17 since 1990. He also has the most different titles (7 out of 9). Here are the players who have won the most different AMS titles (according to ATP Media Guide):

Player--Total--Different Titles
Andre Agassi--17--7
Pete Sampras--11--5
Marcelo Rios--5--5
Michael Chang--7--4
Gustavo Kuerten--5--4
Marat Safin--5--3
Roger Federer--5--3 (updated through 2005 Indian Wells)
Andy Roddick--3--3
Carlos Moya--3--3
Thomas Enqvist--3--3

Re: Masters Titles?

How many did Ivan Lendl get, anyone know? I really hate it how the ATP stats ignore anything from before "their" tour started.

Lendl won all of his before 1990- that was the year the ATP Tour was inaugurated. Before 1990 there were in effect no Master Series or Super 9's- they were called Grand Prix events back then and I think there were more than 9.
