Our beloved Juanqui continues to rise up the rankings like a rocket Who would have expected Juan to reach no..... 85 It is only a matter of weeks before he breaks back into the top ten

Hey Marat was in the 80's when he came back from injury and played the AO in '04. And he made it all the way to the Final then... the same could happen for Juanqui at RG. Im keeping the faith!

lol. Can't make out how much sarcasm is in this thread. Winning one match is enough to boose him up 7 spots, not a bad day of work there. I would prefer a Clijsters like movement of shooting up the ranking at just the second event since coming back. But for JC, as long as he's moving up, I guess. Better luck in Miami.

And there was this other player named Tommy Haas that came back and beat the number 2 player in the world and this one player named Agassi who came back after some dismal rankings.

Not necessarily, because Guga can request ranking protection, this way his ranking is for all practicall purposes, something around 30°.
