Disappointing result. I really thought Tomic had got his game back on track after Wimbledon.

This all part of Tomic's 4 step guide to number 1.

1. Lose to mugs before the US Open
2. Get drawn to play qualifier, wildcard, Querrey at the US Open
3. ???
4. Profit!

More pathetic than Tomic perfomance today, only the comments of FedererBulgaria.

Tomic serve is ridiculous bad for his height.

Proud fan of:

Love this result, Tomic can’t stand to lose to guys with “weirder” games than him.

Funky Flo now leads their H2H 4-1

Good one Mugic, 13 games this time (enough for 2 sets)

Game over. Forever.

Who gives a sh!t about their outfits? This is not a fashion board plus why would they have any special outfits? Are they tennis stars? Have they won anything big?

They are both clowns with zero brain. Dimitrov wants to be a playboy. Tomic acting crazy with his 'attitude problem'. They both live in a lala land. They don't work hard enough. How many times both of them lost in R1/R2 this year?

I want both of them to succeed
regardless of the fact that they are both clueless. We seriously need some fresh blood.

and you talk about their outfits, uh, oh ... that's beyond superficial .

Tomic shows all the signs of clinical depression/burnout.

LOL! I hope you are joking. If not, you are as much of a fool as Tomic is.

Re: Montreal R1: Mayer def. Tomic 5-7 6-3 6-3

Mayer matched Tomic in varying shot selection. Whenever Tomic played the ball low and slow or lured him up to net, Mayer was usually ready with an answer.

One difference, and I think this is troubling for Tomic, is that Mayer actually seemed to outmatch him in terms of pace today. If nothing else, he was a lot more willing to mix in some aggression.

Pfft, how quickly you've forgotten their meeting at the prestigious Hopman Cup.

It is Djokovic who caught a break on this day.
