Okay he lost but it looks like Evans has got over his fear of flying.

Sorry Delboy, your British bias is incorrect in this case.

Can't blame the draw's he's had, he's beaten the players in front of him fair and square, tough to win 5 matches in a row, plus Evans was playing well this week, and it's a tougher CH than the ones Lu wins in Asia.

That was a brilliant chance at a title for Daniel, although a final is still a great result. Almost into the top 200 with this result, I think. Not bad at all. If he can back up this with some solid tennis for the rest of the season he could push for top 100 in the future. He certainly has what it takes.

LET'S GO!!
SLAMS: 3 TITLES, 8 finals, 9 semi-finals, 8 quarter-finals...
WORLD TOUR FINALS: 1 TITLE, 3 semi-finals...
MASTERS: 14 TITLES, 7 finals, 12 semi-finals, 18 quarter-finals...
OLYMPICS: 2 gold medals, 1 silver...
DAVIS CUP: 1 TITLE, 1 semi-final, 1 quarter-final...
WORLD #1: 2 weeks and counting...
MATCH WIN/LOSS: 630-174...
TITLES: 44 and counting...

Seen him play, and I disagree, game's not that good.

good enough to out play posipisil for a set for a good portion of this match

he's definitely got top 100 potential, he always has its just been motivation that's been the issue

This was a great match, quality was not the best, lot of shanks and total disappear play (see the scoreline), but Vashy is the "better player" and he won.. solid stuff

Re: Vancouver CH F: Pospisil def Evans 6-0 1-6 7-5

lmao at all the british bias calling vasek overrated, you'd think this was a milos thread. results speak for themselves, he doesn't pick and choose the tourni draws, he wins with the draw handed to him. onwards and upwards vashy

also i was impressed with evans in this tourni, can see him being top 200 easily and top 150 with more consistency
