Where Do You Guys Shop At?

I've been getting my raquets lately from my local sporting goods store...it sells gear for most all sports, not just tennis. I'll probably get my stuff either from them or the tenniswarehouse...anyone else know some other good shops with good prices?
Also can someone suggest some good string that will help in generating top spin and that is fairly durable?

Thanks

I usually buy my raquets online, but it depends. Tenniswarehouse is good.

Go to "The Tennis Company" in San Diego (http://www.tenniscompany.com/index.html), "Midwest Sports" (http://www.midwestsports.com/), or "Holabird Sports" (http://www.holabirdsports.com/home.htm). They have the cheapest prices...

I've always gotten my racquets from midwestsports.com for good prices. & twice when I ordered by phone, the price was even lower than advertised online!

I buy shoes from Eastbay & apparel from all over.

Other than the shops specified, these two places always have good deals:
www.tennisboom.com
www.thetennisspot.net

Havent bought anything online, but I've got a bit of christmas money still left to spend, so I think I might be heading to tenniswarehouse....not for a racquet though, postage for something like that would be killer....I'll probably just grab some dvd's and some clothes

I refuse to buy anything there on the grounds that their slogan is crapola

"Winning is the mark of the rebel - Rebel Sport!"

Re: Where Do You Guys Shop At?

When I lived up in Baltimore, I went to Holabird Sports. Great shop, knowledgeable staff. Haven't found anything yet down here in Roanoke, so have just been going to the local Dicks Sporting Goods.
