Roddick vs. Gonzalez... upset?

Any one think Gonzalez can cause an upset here? ($3.50 on offer worth taking?)

Also, is Canas really suffering from an injury as stated in the Live scores thread? I'm wondering if the $2.10 for Dent is value.

Re: Roddick vs. Gonzalez... upset?

How would it be an upset if Gonzalez beats Roddick? It's not like he hasn't beaten him before on hardcourts.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Roddick vs. Gonzalez... upset?

In terms of how the bookies have positioned the two it seems to be a mismatch with Roddick at 1.30ish and Gonzalez at 3.50+, however i believe that it will be much closer than the bookies have it.. so in terms of betting it would be an upset, as Gonzalez is paying over $3.50 in a two horse race..

Why not take the generous odds breaker?

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Roddick vs. Gonzalez... upset?

I've checked the stats for their past matches in the draw and Roddick has been the more impressive even in his match against Verdasco. I think Roddick will take him - if Blake can bagel Gonzo...Roddick can cause some significant damage.

I've not checked the stats yet, but I'm liking Dent to beat Canas. Canas is suffering with a knee problem and he struggled like anything against Chela. Dent will hold serve more easily...but he is less likely to break. A word of warning - Canas leads 2/0 h2h - all in straight sets. Also, we all know that Canas loves to eat serve & volley players for dinner.

if you are unsure yourself why place the bet? when you need others to reassure you that's a sign for you to tell yourself no bet and move on

and my two cents - it's not like roddick is playing a mug on the HC, so no bet for me

I'm 70% sure that Gonzo won't win.

The gambler is right, even if you don't have the money to lose or the bottle to make the bet, then don't do it.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Bah. Remind me never to go to the casino with any of you.

Safe gamblers.

I won't be going to Star City, unless you are taking me out Smankie.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
