So I saw the new dvd release, Masters Series Facing Federer, on The Tennis Channel...

Well, I don't think it is worth $19.95. Nevertheless, it was very entertaining and allowed tennis fans a very nice behind the scenes view.

Off the bat, I must say, I fell in love with Henman. I think he is a fun person and has a nice personality. In fact, I now hope Henman wins Wimbledon before he retires.

I think Andy has a nice personality, so does Marat. They showed the feet of some of the players........yuck.........

Coria was very giving of his time, and I also think he has a nice personality. He showed some of the emotion that is involved in recovering from an injury.

Moya was also very nice, and I saw, through him, some of the emotion a player feels when he loses a match.

Guadio didn't really impact me in any way, and Hewitt............................................ ............................................no comment.

Federer is the star of the film. I am not going to comment much on Federer because I really enjoy watching him play tennis and make history. I do think that he is very guarded and what he allow people to see of him isn't on the spur.

but it's not just about Federer. it is a nicely edited send-up of the guys at the top of the tour. Henman has a lovely wit -- i am enjoying him. and Coria's determination. and sexy Marat Moya comes across as calm and cool, Hewitt is charming and respectful, Gaudio comes across as inaccessible -- even before he lost, and the Duck has a cute nephew.

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

Oh Definitely, I am so happy that they included all the guys, and gave each one a fair amount of airtime.

Why can't Andy be that decent on the court as he is off the court...his nephew is adorable... Andy just lost to Hewitt-he's clearly upset, but it his nephew being there just put things into perspective...that was one of my fav moments.

Coria is not that bad...i know he gets a lot shit...he seemed ok

Did u see Henman's feet? gross!!!

Marat is clearly a stud and he is so aware of it...but it's cute.

It really was a great look at the tour behind the scenes. I enjoyed it last night.

It wasn't that good and the best thing was I didn't pay to see it.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

So, is this TTC program - Facing Federer II the same thing as what's on the DVD, I wonder? Anybody know?

i thought that the Duck's comment about putting it in perspective was absolute crap. i would have preferred to hear him say that he was getting back to the practice courts, that he's a fighter, that he looks forward to their next match-up -- not that babysitting his nephew put it all in perspective but then again i'm not a Duckfan.

Coria was great. he was so accessible. and there was a naked-butt shot of him getting a massage that would have made alphonsojose swoon

i liked the fact that Henman showed us his ugly feet. he was so unvain and witty. i loved it.

as for Marat. what can i say. he gets away with it bec he's so charming. and that lady-killer smile.

I hear what your saying about Roddick...i'm no fan of Andy's. I just thought he would have been more of prick after his loss to Hewitt. He seemed just low key for some reason. He's never low key on the court- just the opposite.

I don't know, I found his reaction odd..just me.

Yeah, I did see Coria butt shot...too bad it wasn't Marat's ass

I thought that Andy handled the loss very nicely. I liked the scenes with his nephew.

Well, I already ordered the DVD, so I hope it does turn out to be worth the $19.95.

By the way, last year's Master's Cup Uncovered contained a near-naked butt shot of Carlos during a massage. Maybe they can make it a theme?
