Pretty faces...

Left-handedness is more than just a physical specialization. It's a state of mind.

He sure is pretty.
But Ginepri needs to change his hair to qualify for this thread.
It's nasty-looking.

Re: Pretty faces...

Lurker, do the dudes in your neck of the woods drive pick-up trucks, keep a collection of blunt instruments and "gun darn it, just gotta slaughter me some hog today"? That is what Bubba's photo reminds me of. Mind you, Fish with his narrow blue eyes is the original axe-wielding psychopath.

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Re: Pretty faces...

I still dont think it is a bad pic, but I am pretty much clueless on everything regarding fashion / looks of other men, so dont pay attention to me.

I think he looks like a normal american kid, like those of the mtv tv shows.

Re: Pretty faces...

Don't worry, I am far from being Mr. Fashionista myself. I don't think Ginepri looks frightening as much as... dumb. And this much has been confirmed by people who watched a very inarticulate interview from him at last year's AO when he made the 4th round. I always thought that beard and sideburns combination looked distinctly pathetic, and the way he combined with that swaggering strut, as if he was something really special, just made him all the more laughable.

Re: Pretty faces...

Oh I know he is dumb, and his beard used to look like something that could spread diseases, hence his nickname Germsbeard, Ive seen worse pics of Ginepri.

Re: Pretty faces...

OK, so his hair's a little ludicrous as well. Actually, that was what I noticed the first time I saw him play as a clean-shaven 18-year old against Hewitt in Cincy back in 2002. Well, it was more notable than his game that day, that's for sure...

Berdych should realise that a combination of long hair and rather feminine features is not doing him any favours at all. You could stick that on the WTA website as a player photo and people wouldn't bat an eyelid. I'm worried that I'm starting to become so shallow, but horror-inducing photos are always amusing. They're even better when the posters' shallowness comes back to haunt them, like the jokey poll asking who was sexier, Safin or Stepanek, after which El Lippo beat their beloved Maratik in front of his home crowd.
