Mansour Bharami, just to have fun...

"I asked a bloke in the front row if he liked the serve-and-volley stuff," said Rafter. "He said he did but asked if he was going to get to see any rallies. 'Not today, mate,' I told him."

Todd Martin

Well respected and has already served as a player rep so I'm sure he understands the many of the issues confronting players and promotors/sponsors. I think he'd need to get away from the game a bit...but I think he'd do fine.

I love my girls.

Pete Sampras... just because he must be SO bored these days. Would be a great PR for the sport, but I guess he's far frome being a politician, and this tennis organisation, between ITF, ATP, GS, MS, Olympics, must be a nightmare to coordinate...

I agree. He already has the respect of the players and most parties involved with the sport. He was the president of the atp players concil so he'd make a good commissioner.

How about a joint commisionership between John McEnroe and Todd Martin?

John because of his obvious passion for the game as well as numerous creative ideas and Todd because of his level headedness and the reasons you mentioned above.

Todd would be kind of a check on Mac so he doesn't reinstitute wooden rackets or something like that They would have to both agree before an idea could move forward.

That kinda sounds like they'd probably never move an idea forward then.

Probably Mr Timothy Henman.

Well spoken and good mannered, but has a decent sense of humour. Well respected and is probably more knowledgable than most.
