Re: AUSTRALIA VS ARGENTINA!!!!

It depends where this match takes place! On clay, Argentina for sure, but on any other surface Australia!

Played in Australia and it'll be on grass.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: AUSTRALIA VS ARGENTINA!!!!

I want Argentina to win, but seeing that it's on grass and in Australia, it's gonna be really difficult. Is there any hope for Nalbandian to defeat Hewitt? If not, then they should put Coria against Hewitt and let Nalbandian try the wins in the other single matches, if he's playing two.

Coria against Hewitt on grass? No. Why? Because, although Hewitt and Coria have similar games, Hewitt has greater experience on the stuff and should prevail. BTW, they have yet to play one another, so it can be a toss-up here....

Re: AUSTRALIA VS ARGENTINA!!!!

AUS only has Hewitt as their singles guy, so Coria/Nalbandian or whomever plays for ARG during this tie has a shot at winning both their matches vs the other singles player. Doubles huge edge to Australia so they will win. Also, it's on grass, which hurts the Argies even more. If it were on clay, ARG would win no matter what, on a hardcourt/rebound ace it would be 50/50 I would say. Nice match-up but the surface will kill any fun involved in this one I think.

Re: AUSTRALIA VS ARGENTINA!!!!

I believe it is a very good chance for Argentina, despite the surface.
Hewitt is not unbeatable in grass, he certainly will be the toughest but Nalbandian and Cañas might have a chance against him. Coria nor Gaudio are likely to me to be playing the singles matches. Doubles should truly be "the" point to win, considering Leyton winning both his matches.
I feel confident of our "muchachos"...

I'm of the same mind. Love Lleyton, especially in DC...but unless he can get help...I see the Argentinians winning this one. Should be the most interesting tie.

I love my girls.

I'm not too confident about this one. I think I will give my opinion about this when Wimbledon finishes. The tie is on Hewitt's hands I say, depends on how he's playing at the moment. That's why I will wait.

Yeah, I agree. With all the injuries that our guys usually have, we cannot say anything right now. We have to wait and celebrate our recent victory!

Grass is Philipuseless' favourite surface. And I figure he may have pulled himself together a bit by the time Wimbedon swings around.

Anyway, whoever wins this tie will probably be the eventual winner.
