It's not redemption until the beats the Russians in the next round.

Good win anyway Mathieu.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Chokemeister nearly pulled it off again

now lets see him in Moscow (he did win KC in 03 there )

tough to watch that match, football and European Indoors in Madrid at same time

It is redemption enough for the choke in the third set.

Well his biggest failure was the final. I wonder if it's 2-2 and he plays Youzhny does his mind think about what happened in France the last time they played.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Would you say he's the Mauresmo/Clijsters of men's tennis?

I think they should lay down the clay.

TBE, at least the Swedes won in Madrid.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

well done PHM, fair play to him

How many times must we of shot nerves witness the undoubted pain & suffering of muppets everywhere before we stand up against the cavemen??

One muppet, who wishes to remain anonymous, has this to say: "You know, I uhhhh cannot stay all the time at the you know, base of the line. Too much uhhhh pression."

It is your turn to help - The "Save A Muppet Foundation" needs you!

Yes, the midget did very well in Madrid, though he is not Sjöberg. Russians are always good at athletics.

Btw, I think they should lay down clay for the Frenchies? What's your take on it?

i'd go with clay for simple reason that Mathieu is the only person from France who can play on it and he is a choker. Rest are pretty ordinary on clay and also chokers.

Against our classic 4 nutters, it evens things out.

Re: Redemption: Paul-Henri Mathieu def Thomas Johansson 6-1 6-4 6-7 6-4

Come on who wants stable Russian players? That would be boring and it's bad when Kolya is considered the most stable out of Misha, Oaf and Andreev.

I think it has to be on clay as they can all play on the surface and why doesn't Chesnokov become captain.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
