Isner has needed a new coach for a long time. The next step for him is obviously getting to net more and volleying better, and he hasn't really gotten there. He's much better than the beginning of his career but I haven't seen much progress in the last couple of years.
With his size and reach and muggy baseline game, I don't see why he isn't at the net almost every point
haha I didn't even know Boynton and Isner weren't together anymore Well hopefully this is the beginning of Isner taking the next step, I'm not really seeing it but it's not like his game is gonna change that much anyway.
