This is Murray's slam to lose

Honestly, it's time. So many upsets, no Fed, no Nadal look at his potential draw:

R3: Robredo
R4: Troicki/Youzhny
QF: Monaco/De Schepper/Verdasco/Gulbis
SF: Stakhovsky/Melzer/Almagro/Janowicz/Mannarino/Brown/Kubot/Paire
F: Djokovic, but who is to say the Serb will make it.

Muzz needs to win Wimbledon. Let the British have their champion.

Even if he is a Scot.

I agree. Although Stako in the SF might be too big of a mountain to climb.

The Flying Scot will get his haggis creamed by Roboredo. Count on it.

Stupid jinx thread. Djokovic is still the favorite and has been since he was seeded number 1.

Re: This is Murray's slam to lose

He can win if someone takes out Almagro before SF

Fakervic played at 150% against Federer as usual.

Federer was the pioneer of first-strike all-court tennis. This is the real tennis and the beautiful game. Never forget the beauty of what was tennis. Nadull and Fakervic don't win tennis matches. They simply outlast their opponent with endless grinding and stamina. That is ugly. Beautiful tennis is gone now. Never forget the good days of real tennis.

Re: This is Murray's slam to lose

I wouldn't give my certainty that both Murray or Djokovic will have it easy despite Federer and Nadal going out. Having them gone will fuel the other lesser players self-belief that they can make the same thing happen to either of them.

THE GOLDEN ERA OF TENNIS
Novak "The Serbinator" Djokovic Andy "The Pride and Joy of Britain" Murray Roger "Swiss Maestro" Federer Rafael "Spain's Raging Bull" Nadal

Murray moves better than Djokovic on grass. I'm not saying he will win Wimbledon, but I agree its his tournament to lose.

ASI Director-General Gautam Sengupta said the list of India's treasures held abroad was "too long to handle" and there was a need for a "diplomatic and legal campaign" for their restitution from institutions, including the British Museum, the Royal Collection and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

Re: This is Murray's slam to lose

Good draw, but remember that Murray has lost early in many slams himself, and even if lately he has been more consistent there have been a few tight ones.

Any of Youzhny, Paire, Gulbis, Verdasco, and Janowicz could beat him, even before the final. Djokovic is still the favourite with the bookmakers.

Muzz- 2.58

Hardly a runaway favorite.

Re: This is Murray's slam to lose

By the way this years Wimbledon is unfolding, who the hell knows if Murray will even get past the 4th round.

Tomic [tom-ic] [tom-ic-ing]
verb
1. apply yourself for a small period of time before giving up. (I am tomicing this match).
noun
2. play exceedingly well for a month and then give fallacious promises to the world. (He performed a Tomic)
