Honestly, it's time. So many upsets, no Fed, no Nadal look at his potential draw:
R3: Robredo
R4: Troicki/Youzhny
QF: Monaco/De Schepper/Verdasco/Gulbis
SF: Stakhovsky/Melzer/Almagro/Janowicz/Mannarino/Brown/Kubot/Paire
F: Djokovic, but who is to say the Serb will make it.
Muzz needs to win Wimbledon. Let the British have their champion.
I wouldn't give my certainty that both Murray or Djokovic will have it easy despite Federer and Nadal going out. Having them gone will fuel the other lesser players self-belief that they can make the same thing happen to either of them.

Good draw, but remember that Murray has lost early in many slams himself, and even if lately he has been more consistent there have been a few tight ones.
Any of Youzhny, Paire, Gulbis, Verdasco, and Janowicz could beat him, even before the final. Djokovic is still the favourite with the bookmakers.

It does look like the stars are aligning for Murray, but who really knows with how this tournament has gone. If he makes the final and Djokovic does as well I'd call it 50/50, but I hope for the sake of the British fans that he pulls it off.
Even better for Murray: Youzhny went over his ankle in his R1, and did his back in his R2 (and went 5). If he makes it he'll be crocked.
That third quarter though, just incredibly open, very interesting. Paire or Janowicz are favourites - Almagro just can't return on grass so will always be rolling the dice a bit every round. Melzer has the game but probably not the fitness. Stakhovsky? Will he kick on a la Soderling, or do a Rosol and lose next round?
Oh, just noticed we have a possible R4 Brown vs Paire. Does it get more awesome?
Just keep up with underrating The World #1. Seems that it is better for him when MTF underrates him, instead of favoring him like during RG.
btw, this W for No1e will be like walk in the park - he has too good and too deep returns and strokes, too good movement and too solid serve for any opponent, so upset just cannot happen to him. Not so sure about Murray...
Murray is just better than Djoker on grass, face it.
Better serve (especially first serve), better ROS (especially on first serve), far better slice and net play......actually, he is better than Djoker in all the most important things of grass play.
I would say that Murray is now the favourite, partly because Djokovic now has the tougher path to the final. That is not the same as saying it is his to lose.
LOL at Murray's better grass play. When was the last time Centre Court in the end of the tournament was played on "grass"?
If they meet it's Clayray vs Nole v2.0 facing off on a surface playing like green clay. Djoker will be my favorite then and Murray will get downgraded to Scotsman once again
When Soderling beat Nadal at R.G. it was obvious the weight of expectation got to Roger. Del Po played a great match in the semis but Fed's almost going out to Haas in the 4th round surely had something to do with the earthquake of Nadal's loss. The weight of expectation on a British player at Wimbledon, with the draw opening up like this, is going to be even heavier. So I think we can at least expect Murray to give British fans some nervous moments.
Have you not seen what has happened to Federer and Nadal? I swear, some posters have no clue whatsoever. There are many players who are dangerous on grass, and on a given day, anyone can lose to anyone. To say that this is "Murray's slam to lose" is not only ignorant, but disrespectful to other players. Is he one of the main favorites? Yes, but it is FAR from his slam to lose.
I know, Rafa tards want Nole to lose, and it may happen, but just wishing it doesn't meant it will happen. If Nole meets Murray in the final, he will be the favorite, no doubt. Does that mean he will win? Of course not...like Murray, this is FAR away from his title to lose. Murray and Nole are favorites on paper, which means very little once you step on the court.
Haas is so good on grass that Djokovic will have to play amazing to beat him.
