Re: This is Murray's slam to lose

Saying this is Murray's slam to lose is a little harsh considering the best player in the game is still alive.

But, you don't understand. Murray is a true/real #1. Nole is just a poser. Just ask Moozza and Sapeoid. They are both in negotiations with the ATP to change this injustice .

Djokovic is No.1 and former winner. His slam to lose.

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

Re: This is Murray's slam to lose

threads like this remind me of 2002, a similar Wimbledon where the brit hope then got thrashed in the latter stages by the no.1 ranked seed. History repeating itself?

I'm not sure how this myth emerged. Becker repeated it yesterday, too. When does Murray lose early?

this decade it's only happened once, when GOATrinka got red hot on Armstrong at the 2010 USO.

Exactly. Murray has been extremely consistent at the slams for years now.

Too many times it's been Muzzboy's slam to lose. I won't believe it until the trophy is in his hands.

Re: This is Murray's slam to lose

Fully agree with the OP.

Murray established himself as one of the best players on grass last year, and has looked just as great this time around as well. You'd have to be biased not to at least consider him a serious contender.

Re: This is Murray's slam to lose

I think he will win the title this year. Novak hasn't looked that convincing so far, despite getting through comfortably. There is no one in Murray's half who could challenge him, but Novak still has some tough grass court players to face.

A Murray Djoker final would be close, if they both play really well. BTW, the idiots saying Nole's W win and Andy's US win were flukes? Dumb trolls. Ignore them. Winning 7 matches to win a title is never a fluke. Djokovic destroyed Nadal in that final, end of. Murray won the US open, end of.

In case you haven't noticed, sarcasm is difficult to pick up over the internet, where you're reading and not listening to what people say. No amount of smilies unless they're VERY obvious will ever make sarcasm stand out. You're better off sticking to not using it at all.

Also, fluke slams include Nadal's US Open, Djokovic's Wimbledon, Del Potro's US Open, Johansson's Australian Open and Gaudio's Roland Garros. They do exist, they're just rare. If they're not fluke slams, then we can call them unwanted slams.

now, I will give you a credit that you have matured and your posts make more sense then when you started posting here with all of your fanatical Murray nonsense. Still, you sometimes just can't help it and 'an old' Sap pops up.
"Fanatical Murray nonsense". I was waiting for you to say something like that and there is it. Predictabl. I'm beginning to wonder whether or not you can say anything else when you're replying to me. As I said, you always get my age wrong, pick out my favouritism of Murray or how "immature" I am. It's one of those each time, or all of them.
