Is today one of the greatest days of the last 10 years?

Nadal, one of the tournament favourites, gets startled in straight sets to a gentlemen who played well out of his element. Very unexpected and thrilling.

Rusty winded back the clocks and played his best tennis in years. An amazing performance, crushing an in-form Stan and made only 11 UE's in a comfortable straight set victory.

Federer put on a wonderful exhibition of grass-court tennis.

Yes?

Tomic [tom-ic] [tom-ic-ing]
verb
1. apply yourself for a small period of time before giving up. (I am tomicing this match).
noun
2. play exceedingly well for a month and then give fallacious promises to the world. (He performed a Tomic)

When he officially retires from tennis, that will be the best day in tennis history.

I don't like Nadal.

For traditional grass court tennis, absofrigginglutely. Continues from Mahut's title at Rosmalen. I hope Haas makes the final from the top half now

Yes, this is one of the great days in the history of tennis. After 6 horrible, depressing months the sport has come alive again.

Without a doubt. Every time Nadal is eliminated from the sacred grounds is a good day for tennis. His dirty ways doesn't belong here.

It was a good day, but let's not exaggerate. Few matches were really dramatic.

A big name losing because he was horrible? No.

Saturday was a great day, two great grasscourtsers won titles, that should happen whenever there's a tournament on grass. Mahut-Lopez Wimbledon final would be an awesome day for tennis.

I know I am going on a limb but this is the best day in the khistory of tennis. Without a shadow of a doubt, the best day since allies defeated Germany decades ago.
