Federer and Murray would straight set Darcis, maybe not Djokovic.

Rafa was bad but Darcis was very good. If Nadal wins the 2nd set he probably wins the match.

I would have made the same thread if it was Djokovic, Murray or Federer. Nadal is one of my favourite players.

You fail.

First day of the most prestigious tournament and an upset of the likes only seen on grass these days, it was a good day.

Federer Djokovic - Del Potro - Soderling - Tsonga - Dimitrov - Haas - Wawrinka - Paire

Saying Darcis was very good while Rafa was bad kinda discredits the win a little imo. I just think today was one of those days many average tennis players would have beaten Rafa with his level of play.

Now Rosol played well against Rafa last year; but today, it was more of a case of Rafa being terribly average instead of Darcis actually playing well.

I don't know if it's rust or nerves, but Rafa is certainly a much better tennis player on grass than what he showed today.

Darcis did play well though - didn't fold in the big moments and played smart tactically, using the slice and coming to net a lot.

I think its interesting certainly but I can recall plenty of better early round result days in Grand Slams

something was up with Nadal
at least Rosol and Soderling played very very well
most likely one of the knees, or both.

it is always a great day when rafabots go into hiding.

ASI Director-General Gautam Sengupta said the list of India's treasures held abroad was "too long to handle" and there was a need for a "diplomatic and legal campaign" for their restitution from institutions, including the British Museum, the Royal Collection and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

I'd say no. Watching Soderding pushing dull to eat mugs in RG09 makes me even happier.
Last year dull losing to Rosol and yesterday were both great too. Tennis has been saved on these days.
