Pathetically STUPID statement.

I like your point of view but I think you are delusional about the purpose of this thread. Hate thread, it's obvious.

Re: Is today one of the greatest days of the last 10 years?

oh come on, upsets are fun, but who wants to see Nadal go out in R1? if top seeds all get beaten early on the tournament will lose a lot of drama and excitement

I think its interesting certainly but I can recall plenty of better early round result days in Grand Slams

something was up with Nadal
at least Rosol and Soderling played very very well

<3 Roger Federer <3 David Ferrer <3 Juan Martin Del Potro <3 Ernest Gulbis <3

------------------------ <3 Richard Gasquet <3

Rafael Nadal

Re: Is today one of the greatest days of the last 10 years?

I don't know... I have a feeling like these days will become fairly routine in the future...

Fraud has been exposed: shoulder bumping is no longer efficient and Toni's dark magic is declining!

Nadal won't win a non clay tournament ever again, except maybe if he plays Valencia.

Proud supporter of El Tio , the greatest genius alive!

Alchimists transform iron into gold. Boriiiiiing!
Movie-makers transform dreams into reality. Yeah, whatever...
El Tio transforms Dull into a multiple GS champion! Daaaaamn!

El Tio has the keys to weather, court speed, draw making, umpires' decisions and perception of time between points, top players' fatherhood, and my libido!

This signature is in no way ironic. Please don't ever let El Tio think that, for my sake!

It's pretty good. Would look better if Gymnast and Vulture were taken out, so don't disappoint Day 2.

RIP Henry Chinaski. A true MTF legend

Re: Is today one of the greatest days of the last 10 years?

Has certainly been a pretty intriguing grass season so far. At least definitely a tad different from previous years.

Federer / Haas / Safin / Gaudio / Kuerten / Youzhny / Nadal / Gonzalez / Ljubicic / Hewitt / Soderling / Wawrinka / Coria / Nalbandian / Kohlschreiber

Lose drama? I thought it creates more drama when top seeds go out early unexpectedly? How else do you explain the craze last year with Rosol and watching in anticipation who the first time finalist would be from the bottom half?

Darcis didn't play well? If anything Darcis was playing phenomenal off the ground. His slice really gave Rafa a lot trouble and his one-hander didn't break down at all.. Makes you think how a Federer/Nadal match would be on fresh grass, certainly a match we probably will never witness

Re: Is today one of the greatest days of the last 10 years?

Darcis really didn't play that well. Rafa was just terrible. Probably the worst I've ever seen him play.

Don't tell me the likes of Federer, Djokovic and Murray wouldn't straight set Darcis today.
