Re: Does Federer actually have a chance to reach the final now?

He had a legitimate chance before Rafa was knocked out, but this certainly will play on his mind pretty positively that he knows at worst he has to only get through Murray/Djokovic which he did last year, and even then his only true grass concern is Murray.

Federer / Haas / Safin / Gaudio / Kuerten / Youzhny / Nadal / Gonzalez / Ljubicic / Hewitt / Soderling / Wawrinka / Coria / Nalbandian / Kohlschreiber

IMO he stands less of a chance now, owning Nadal in the QF would've given him a great confidence boost against Mooray.

If it's purely physical and you're watching someone playing six-hour matches over and over and showing no signs of being tired, you'd look at that. - Andrew Barron Murray OBE

this OG the Final for Federer was SF against Del Potro. OG was not Wimbledon for Federer. Wimbledon is Wimbledon with all players in white , If Federer wanted Gold or DC he could have it, How many OG Fed
has played ? For him GS and #1 is the most important things in TENNIS, Sampras does not have Gold and what ? But has 14GS and 286 weeks as #1 what makes him legend . This Gold medal will not make Murray legend and if he does not get to #1 or wins more than 10 GS is nobody in tennis. That is Federer is a GOAT in this game.
Agassi and Lendl were nobodies then. Thanks for playing.

Re: Does Federer actually have a chance to reach the final now?

For me before start of the tournament Murray was the slight favourite to win the tournament. I still stick by it but currently i'd put Roger as the second favourite. Too bad they are not on opposite sides, it would be exciting to watch them in a final again.

Fan list: Cilic, Federer, Coric

P.S. Watch out for Donna Vekic and Borna Coric, 2020. Hopman cup winners. - posted in 2011, let's see if it happens

Everyone, including his fans in addition to the haters wrote off Roger. He has an impossible battle against Murray in the SF who is stronger than him, faster than him, and more determined than him.

Does Roger actually have a chance now? I feel like this may be his last chance at a slam. He is declining faster than Roddick and Murray/Djokovic/Tsonga/Beryech is killing him left and right.
Wrong. Truth is he was playing horrible on clay by his standards.
Still enough for choking Djokovic and lapdog Ferrer, but one would have been a fool to think his successes on clay would translate on other surfaces.

Lol, gugatard, haven't you learned you lessons from failing all these years. Pipe down and be ready to congratulate the GOAT if he wins Wimbledon at an age when Nadal may not eve be playing.

The one that wins his 1st round matches and has been doing so longer than Nadal has been on tour. Gedit?

Man, MTF can't handle itself when Rafa has a huge upset. Same thing happened with the Rosol match, a million retarded threads pop up...

He's barely on tour to play 20 matches a year nowadays, so hardly a surprise. Try again.

Yes you are right loosing to Darcis is better than loosing to Nadal.

Federer: Future number one.

Fed vs Rafa

Wimbledon: 7-2
U.s open: 5-2
AO: 4-1
FO 1-9
WTF: 6-0
Weeks at number one: 302-140(about)

Really no contest
