Cool i am very proud of Albert Costa...

he got a lot of knocks for qualifying for Shanghai. some said he had no right to be there bec his RG win was just a fluke. but he showed up and he played his heart out and i couldn't be prouder. i swear i feel like his mum (i'm not). lol...

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

yeah i am proud of him too. Initially nobody was betting one single buck for him. And he has finished putting under doubts up to the last minute the qualification to the semi-finals of the world number one .
¡Bien hecho Alberto! You can let satisfied Shanghai

he played fabulously considering his confidence indoors was not high. Beating Safin is amazing and so far he is the only one to come very close to bating Carlos Moya. I love you ALBERT!!!!

Yes, congrats Albert! I hope he now rests his back and spends some time in the sun. He did himself proud this week! I'm proud to be a fan!

I'm mad at Moya for winning - I hope he loses tomorrow

Um anyhow, hehe - Costa made many of us bite our feet this week, so congrats to him

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Costa was the guy who first got me to watching men's tennis. It was either in '99 or 2000. He sort of dissapeared after that. But he made the Cup this season, he's still around. I'm pretty proud of him too.

Excellent performance and I regret for disregarding him before the tournament began. He proved that he's place was well deserved.

Everyone can see Moya was not happy in winning over Costa but being professional, he did his best to win a match.

Although I thought before the Masters Cup that Costa was gonna be the weakest in the tournament, I think that I was wrong and he tried his best during the whole tournament, and even beated Marat.
So, he must be proud of himself. He was almost in semifinals.

Aren't all love stories destined to fail?

Great job Albert!
I remember not so long ago I had to dig many stats from his carreer to prove people he was no damn fluke on RG. Well, anyway... He played some very good matches, a lot better than I could expect. Great end of season.

Btw, I love your signature, Andromeda!

Costa has surprised me in this tournament. He beat Safin and took a set from each of Hewitt and Moya. He has shown that he deserves to be there.
