WWW ? Wimbledon R1 : Monaco - Knittel

A significant opportunity for Knittel here.

Although he's mostly no show on other surfaces, he transforms into a player with weapons come grass court season.

Not to mention that, he's a more talented player than Vulture In Chief after all. Regardless of the surface.

The GOAT is back.

Withdrawing from posting WWW threads for grass 250s was probably a strategic tank to avoid the threat of a ban.

Anyway, Knittel has shotmaking abilities and that should be enough to beat Vulture In Chief when the grass is still fast.

Poor Vulture in Chief. Yet again he draws a "more talented player" in round 1.

Not a bad draw for Knittel, but Monaco should be way too strong.

I'd be surprised if the OP ever saw Knittel play.

Monaco looked very decent in Eastbourne. Should be an easy win for him.

What a draw. Not fixed at all.

Knittel has this match on his racket.

Re: WWW ? Wimbledon R1 : Monaco - Knittel

Knittel really seems like a decent player on fast surfaces, he beat Daniel Brands in two TBs for a CH title on indoor HC in 2011. And he's already gone through qualy at Wimby, he beat e.g. Mischa Zverev who had beaten the future big name Jack Sock.

not this garbage again
We all know Monaco isn't going far in Wimbledon, but he should at the least be able to beat this fellow.

Re: WWW ? Wimbledon R1 : Monaco - Knittel

Knittel is the much better player, even more so on grass. He will take this in 3 unless he chokes or plays the worst match of his life.

Fill-in-the-Draw (3): US Open 2014, Rotterdam 2013 and Geneva 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 ATP 500 and 1 ATP 250

Tennis Tipping (3): Veneza and Todi 2014 (with vn01), Knoxville 2015 (with Redkop) - 3 challengers; 7 finals lost
